Social Media Marketing for Clinics and Dental Practices

Health content fails in two directions: it either frightens people with procedure footage, or it says nothing at all behind stock photos and a discount badge.

Lead with the fear, then remove it

Patients delay treatment because they expect pain, cost, or judgement. Name that in the first line, then answer it plainly. Calm is the tone that brings customers, not urgency.

What a clinic should post

Keep the camera on people and explanation, not on the procedure itself.

  • A doctor answering one common question in under a minute.
  • What a first visit actually involves, step by step.
  • Cost ranges and what changes the number.
  • Aftercare, which is also the reason patients return.

Be careful with results footage

Show outcomes, not surgery. Get written consent for every patient who appears, avoid anything graphic in the first frame, and never promise a result you cannot repeat.

Reply like a receptionist, not a brand

Comments and messages are where trust is either built or lost. Fast, plain answers about timing, cost, and availability do more for bookings than any campaign.

Real examples

Bad line, good line.

Most people write

Close-up footage of a procedure as the first frame.

Say this instead

"Scared it will hurt? Here is exactly what a first visit involves."

Most people write

"Best dental clinic. 20% off this month."

Say this instead

"A filling here costs NPR 1,500 to 3,000. Here is what changes the number."

Full example

Worked example: a dental clinic in Kalanki

01Film one doctor answering the three questions patients ask most, calmly, one minute each.
02Script a walkthrough of a first visit: reception, chair, what is checked, what it costs.
03Write your consent process down before filming any patient.

20%
Calm explanation

A doctor answering one real question.

First visit

What actually happens, step by step.

Cost ranges

And what changes the number.

Calm converts. Urgency frightens patients away.

Patients are not comparing clinics. They are deciding whether to come in at all.

Do this week

Three things you can do now.

01Film one doctor answering the three questions patients ask most.
02Script a calm walkthrough of a first visit and post it this week.
03Write down your consent process before you film any patient.
